I saw this one not expecting much to be honest, but what I found was that it was one of the best horrors I'd seen in good while. Although not particularly original, it was inventive, jumpy and really creepy.

It is included in Kim Newman's Video Dungeon in this months Empire when really it should have been the Breakout title in that article for me.

Bring on Husk 2: The Klumps!

In response to your thread title, I hope not.
If you feel that this is one of the best horrors in a while, then you clearly don't watch horror films very often, this film was garbage.

I watch horrors a fair bit and I liked it a lot. That doesn't mean to say it was garbage though. For example, lots of people like [REC] whereas I don't. We're all different.

It was good, compared to a lot of films like it, creepy and jumpy like you say in parts.

In my opinion, it wansn't that great. I expected a lot more from this one. There are too much unanswered questions, so many plotholes and the backstory was really lame.

I would definately check out a sequel if they made one.
