At the end of the film the scarecrow lies down at the edge of the field, what I wanna know is, what does that mean.
I hate to say but I didn't understand the ending of the film.
could be lying in wait for those people to come closer or bringing more of the pawns to the edge of the field.

Im thinking:
Before it lies down, it looks at him , im thinking its telling him hes not getting away. Its probably going to take that man when he cones closer. He lies down to prevent him from getting saved and taking another victim.. Just my throughts on it
I watched this the other night. At the beggining of the film that is where it all started. He was on the floor.
I think this is what he does to lure people into the cornfields and to the farmhouse kills them all then starts again?......
I do not think the other guy at the end is going to survive anyway he was badly injured and i think hes trying to stop others from saving the good guy.
I have to say it was a bit weird and not really explained well, but i do think its to lure others in
Also if you remember Johnny just disappeared at the beginning of the film. Its obvious he saw the scarecrow laying down and was pulled in??? then they went to look for him etc then you see him walking into the farmhouse when he was a zombie ready to enter the cornfields to kill and hunt the others....
They just lay in wait ready for the next lot of victims. Remember that they all find the car that had probably been there for years just like what happened to their car??? goes on and on.
