iwhat happened to dominique swain's face? so old looking

the first shot of her convinced me it wasn't her that's how old her face looked in her first shot. really disappointed in her and sad. thought she was like 28 in this??? I thought that woman looks like she is 40. what's up with that? was anyone else confused about her looks in this? and did anyone else think it wasn't her or didn't recognize her because she looked so old?
