A Decent Film!

I enjoyed this film a lot! I especially liked learning about the Laconia incident and it was told by a decent movie. Ya there was some obligatory drama/romance but nothing over the top. I also thought all the primary actors did a great job!!!

The one thing I HATED was the super cliched Americans. Sure blame needs to be assigned but this was so overdone that it hurt the film. There's no need to portray anyone as bumbling idiots ... we see what they did.

I like a WW2 film that shows that not all Germans were blood thirsty maniacs. That some actually had a soul. Life is never a black and white adventure ... but keep in mind this is a German film written for German audiences.
