B-24 Liberator

I never knew they sounded like Avro Lancasters, nor that they only have 5 crew members.
They made a mess of it, lot and lots of errors.

Well, it looked convincing from the outside. Perhaps they couldn't get hold of a Liberator for filming? It would have not been very convincing if they just CGIed it in, would it?
I thought it was pretty accurate, what other errors were there?
Apart from any errors, I thought it was a great productions. Very good directing, great acting, the actors did a fantastic job at bringing the history to life. Hartstein was particularly well portrayed by Ken Duken. The sets were excellent, along with nice CGI as well.

Steve sounds like my dear late Dad. He worked on Lancasters during the war, and would have been enraged last night.
As I said in a previous post, we have to be pragmatic. It's my understanding that the only flying B-24 is located in the States. Imagine the logistics.
Most of us aren't anoraks (sorry if I offend). For those who are more knowledgeable, try and enjoy with a not-too-critical eye.

If you can't be a good example -- then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.

I liked the production i was in anorak mode.
And my name isn't Steve, he's my dad. He signed me up to IMDb and i've yet to get round to changing the username.

Ys. Agree HB. Why et picky? Wish we had more such history-based series, especially of an incident so little-known but profound.

It is sad that your enjoyment of such a fine film was shattered over such triviality. I imagine that you did not sleep for a week.

I liked, that they tried to make it loke like a Type IX boat. Not just a Das Boot VII!
