Just Saw It: About Michael...

Wow! I just saw it this evening and it really stirred me up. I didn't know much about Ruppert going in except that he was a former CIA guy. That's it. He sounds like someone who had to shut up for a good deal of his life, and this movie gives him a great outlet to just let everything out.

I'll learn more about him as I search him online, but the fascinating thing to me is that I really didn't get an impression of him as a political creature. He says things about Dick Cheney in particular that are not flattering, but people from all political walks of life can't stand that guy.

On fiat money, he sounded like Ron Paul. On energy, he sounded like Al Gore. On other matters, he sounded like Ralph Nader.

I have to say that I loved the fact that I couldn't really tell which direction he leans towards politically. He put the truth of things above all that crap and it makes the whole doc a very American and global problem, not a Democrat or Republican one.

I hope his books start to sell now so he can pay his rent. That's outrageous. He ought to be flying all over the place doing speaking engagements.
