With all the emphasis he put on the rise of gold prices its a pity he never put that info to more personal use ie his rent arrears. As much as I like this man I was still very much drawn to that newspaper clip shown midway through with him being called 'Batsh*t Insane' - I needed that comical respite because this doc is seriously doomladen.

in a shtf theater gold will also be useless. if the scenario comes to pass much as he described, potatoes and turnips will be worth more than metals.

far too much emphasis put on physical metals, they can only hedge your lifestyle so far.
instead of putting a fortune into metals buy land, that's what we did.
and if the shtf i'll also be planting land mines lol.

i found that *beep* insane' part funny too and its hard to imagine how smart (or persuading) that guy can be and find out at the end he cant afford his own rent. but i liked the fact he can find happiness in making other people smile, atleast when not talking about the economy
