Why two sets of questions?

Why is that the contestants have to choose which set of questions to have in the Final Chase? Is one set harder than the other? If not, then what's the point? Seems a bit iffy to me.

It is to suggest it's not fixed. The National Lottery has two machines. Obviously it makes no difference - they could still cheat if they wanted.

You realise that the chaser gets the other set, right?

So it's to avoid the program makers deliberately giving the chaser easier questions than the contestants.

reply

They are both the same difficulty but the chaser gets one question and the team gets another.
