On the final chase

It probably doesn't make any difference in the long run but what bugs me about the final chase when the contestants are answering their questions Bradley gives them the answer which takes a portion of their time.
But when the chaser is answering the questions the timer gets stopped for the contestants to try and answer and then Bradley gives the answer meaning the chaser doesn't lose out on any time.
Maybe Bradley shouldn't give them the right answer during their build up as its irrelevant
at this point he should just say they are wrong
