The movie itself is not a terrible sci-fi flick. It is just definitely not a FF movie. Doom looks terrible and there wasn't a real cohesive bond amongst the team. Based on poor reviews I expected an awful movie so in that respect I was pleasantly surprised but we need Marvel to do a real reboot and fix these characters.

shareit's simply the first installment. they took a chance on not making an actual "Action" movie in order to do full back story. Now, the actors aren't very charismatic, but i say stick with them at least trough the next installment. .
