Safe Sexuality in movies

I knew going into this film it would use swinging in the title to catch attention and I could tell it is your higher budget near generic audience catering sort of movie and would handle the subject of sexuality in the safest near conservative manner possible so I actually got a brief shock when the "swinging" appeared to have happened, but as I watched the film a little voice in my head was suspicious and low and behold they didn't go through with it!

It is 2015 now I wish more movies would address sexuality more serious outside of cliché's, Swingers to lump people under a generic term are most often just regular people, the kind you work with, meet on the street etc. Sadly this film seems to present many of them being the most extreme deviants all the way to the overdone BDSM couple.

Even with that aside the film would have been much stronger if they did actually follow through and you know what presented that hey it didn't save the relationship as sometimes in real life it wouldn't.

Also threesomes seem to be something that always falls flat in movies and tv shows when a couple plans it, always such a safe cop out!
