Lol at a couple things

When weapons expert Laurie is practicing with her “tactical” pistol grip shotgun without a stock, and holds it up maybe an inch away from of her face as she looks down the sites and pulls the trigger. I guess you could say “she was just simultaneously checking out the gun’s sites while testing the triggerpull” but I think she was supposed to be practicing aiming a precise shot. I guess if she was as strong as a Ronnie Coleman in his prime (an exaggeration, but common, she’s pushing 70) then maybe she could fire the shotgun while holding it like that with her face up against it and not get popped in the face so hard that she’s spitting out teeth while staring up at the ceiling wondering why it won’t come into focus. The other “lol”, although maybe the media is getting to me, but it seemed like every male character was an asshole in some or all ways. Either an overconfident moron who gets destroyed by Michael, or cheating on the flawless granddaughter, inappropriately trying to hook up with her immediately after the cheating comes to light, an asshole boyfriend who disrespects his girlfriends house by smoking weed in her garage while messing with and dropping her family’s beautiful motorcycle (bc obviously he’s a sexually obsessed, incompetent idiot) or a doctor who is secretly dangerously obsessed with Michael and puts the granddaughter in danger, etc. etc. The only male character that wasn’t a complete bumbling idiot was the old police officer who got killed after accomplishing nothing and saying they didn’t need Laurie’s assistance. Meanwhile all of the female characters are good hearted badasses, except Laurie’s daughter at first, but it turns out she actually is a total badass, but was just dealing with issues stemming from Laurie being traumatized and forcing her to prepare for facing evil. Usually I don’t care about that kind of stuff, or notice it, but lately it’s been so prevalent that I’ve begun to see it in movies, tv, biased news “reporting” and it’s beginning to become annoying.
