Basically a remake of the original. For all of Lauries planning, she still got beat down my Michael.
This one doesn't make sense and it feels like there are no ties or reason for him to still be going after Laurie.

If they're ignoring the part where he's her brother, why did he stalk her in the original, and still going after her in this one?

How did he know to move the kitchen counter?

At the end, the girl is gripping the knife..reminiscent of Young Michael after he killed his sister. Are they saying she'll be the new killer now?

It would make sense for her to assume MM role..if she was related to him somehow.

The dumbest thing about it is he only attacked Laurie once. Traumatizing, sure, but her reaction is way over the top. Why would she even think he’d target her again if only the first movie happened.

Wow. I can't believe how many people who claim to have watched the movie don't get it.

I didn't like it much either. After the opening scene at the mental asylum, it's just kind of dull.
