Thank you Danny McBride for bringing back the Shape. I was not a fan of Zombie's movies at all, and Resurrection was a travesty. I considered the story so well wrapped up after H20. If you think of it as a trilogy it was utterly perfect. 4, 5, and (to a lesser extent) 6 are very enjoyable in their own way, but H20 really brought me serious joy. Resurrection ruined it in like 5 minutes and Rob Zombie seemed to have absolutely no understanding or reverence for the character. A direct sequel to number one with Jamie Lee? Sign me up up and up

Me too, I can't wait to see a Halloween movie on the big screen for the first time.

I saw Halloween Resurrection in the theater, but that's it. I was 14 or 15 and went with my dad. I don't think I've ever been more disappointed with a movie I've seen at the cinema. I had recently become a huge fan of the series and H20 was the current official story and it shit all over it. I saw Zombie's movies when I rented them and was also very upset, but I didn't have very high expectations for them. I have high hopes for this and will definitely be going to the theater to check it out. So pumped!
