Danny McBride says new Halloween movie will do away with supernatural elements??

But if they do away with the supernatural elements and it's a direct sequel to the original wouldn't that make Michael a mortal man who's close to 60.Grandpa Michael doesn't seem to scary to me.The younger characters could easily out run him.

I wonder if by supernatural he means the weird stuff in the remake like the white horse and the thorn stuff.

In the first one he can be seen as a force of nature, but it also could be real well until the end I suppose. The thing is, the first had a mystery. Was he evil, the boogeyman? I prefer having us decide that.

In the original there was always a hint of supernatural. Like there was something evil about him. Remember, Psychiatrists don't use words like "evil" about their patients. But Loomis did, he implied there was something supernatural about him. That's why the first film is so perfect because you could make the argument that he is the boogeyman... or just really lucky.
