Didn't he kill this decrepit milf back it Resurrection?

Please stop torturing these characters my God! Lol.

reply

It's a sequel to the first 2.

reply

Actually ignoring 2. It's a sequel to the original. It retcons how H1 ended. See the new trailer~

reply

Actually it doesn't retcon how H1 ended. Everything that happened in the original still happened: Michael got shot, was seen lying on the ground, then vanished, movie ends. All of that still happened, only difference is he was now captured at some point on the same night, it just remains to be seen/told exactly how he was caught.

reply

yeah just make up whatever hollywood to make it make sense. so dumb, if it's a sequel to the first 2 then how come they didn't make this movie before resurrection and i really doubt it's because they needed to make resurrection first as far as these movies stories go, no they just made resurrection first to make more money off of us.

reply

As H20 did with Halloween 4-6, this upcoming one will ignore all the movies that came after Halloween 2. Like a boss. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

That said, if Michael was brought after he was supposed to be finished in both Halloween 2 and H20 (Laurie herself killed him there), then surely his sister can, too. She must have that unkillable gene, haha. Just call it a Myers thing.

reply

I can't wait until the next reboot comes out in 2028 and says THIS new movie never happened and Halloween 2028 is a "direct sequel" to the '78 movie!

reply

Future installments are bound to happen. Though none of the previous reboots (just H20 I guess) were a direct sequel to the original.

Depending on how it turns out, this one may be the last film with any of the original cast and crew. But you never know, that set in space movie could always come!

reply

exactly, i just made a post about this. i mean how far are they going to take this preposterous and stupid idea. the idea of always bringing back jamie lee. i mean are they actually going to bring her back in 2038 for the 60 year anniversary even when she is 80 years old???!!! it was fine the first time they did it in 1998 because that was the first time they brought her back after many years but this is overkill especially since we also had her back in 2002's resurrection. enough already! they only made up this excuse about this movie taking place before resurrection so they could justify bringing her back again to make more money off of us by but they didn't do it for a movie story reason to justify it.

reply

how can it be ignored if jamie and Pleasence were in the followings?

reply

They can do whatever they want. Though I hate when directors ignore previous installments. At least make the other movies a dreams of Laurie's..

reply

it's a reboot made by hipster college dropouts hoarding in on horror being "in" again,
they don't give a rat's ass about the halloween legacy

reply

Totally agree.

I think the only truly way to give Michael justice is if Carpenter does it again pouring all of his heart into it.

reply

judging by his last movie, The Ward,
i don't think even JC's hand could revive the Halloween Legacy as we would like it

reply

Legacy of crap sequels? I'd swap the previous 8 POS Halloween films for... nothing. Literally, they can erase H4 thru RZH2 from history and Halloween's legacy would greatly enhanced.

reply

i have a different perspective than most?
the Halloween legacy, to me, is the first three films

reply

LOL Halloween THREE? AKA the single worst/most pathetic, godawful excuse for a horror movie EVER MADE? LOL good job embarrassing yourself even further ya tasteless crybaby dipshit

reply

Halloween 3 has a lot of fans.

reply

It surely does. 10/10 I love it to pieces:Atkins, Druids, masks, Stonehenge and the Big Give Away "of the rugrats of the world!

reply

Gt a clue, crybaby moron. Halloween 2 and 3 are the most abysmal sequels in the franchise BY FAR.

reply

i have cried one thousand tears for this horror franchise,
i deserve a proper reboot

reply

You got THE reboot/picture-perfect dream sequel with this new movie, genius.

reply

with a gay-ass millennial producer/director/writer/gaffer....no danke broseph

reply

STFU crybaby dumbass

reply

they could place it before part 4.

reply

It's actually ignoring Halloween 2 as well. This is an alternate Halloween 2. I consider this new movie Halloween 2B. The original Halloween 2 is now 2A. And I guess you can call this new one a "what if" movie. I think they are leaving it to each individual fan to decide which timeline they like better.

reply

Yeah, I wrote my initial comment back when the rumor mill said that Halloween 2 was yet again going to be consider canon in this new decades-later Halloween.

Then later when it was officially confirmed Halloween 2018 was going to be a direct sequel to the original, I was rather stunned. Michael & Laurie will no longer be siblings? This is a direction none of the sequels ever took and itโ€™s something many fans always wondered how it would play out. Count me in!

reply

This new one is disregarding all prior sequels.

reply

She was shot n the head now she's back from the dead

reply

Ha. I would like this movie better if Laurie Strode came back as a zombie after being killed in Resurrection, and Michael Myers has to find a way to kill the undead Laurie.

reply

That should be the plot 4 scary movie 6

reply

STFU you pathetic loser neckbeard
