Jamie Lee Curtis is back! Carpenter's back! Universal's back! The originally-announced release date is back! What's not to get excited about?

Michael looks awesome (and classic) in that promo pic with Jamie. Let's hope that's what he looks like when the camera rolls.

You think Dean Cundey will come back? I sure hope they shoot it on film; it's a tradition at this point. Every Halloween, Friday, and Elm Street has been shot on film.

It's kinda crazy to think that this is going to be the third (fourth?) time this franchise is going to be "reinvented". These days it's commonplace to revisit a film series again and again, but, for this franchise I happily welcome it. After Halloween: Resurrection, I have been waiting for a real continuation to the series... or just another good Michael Myers film! The idea the original timeline will be revisited (and reimagined) with its original star and creator is something special and interesting.

So what do I expect from this upcoming movie apart from Jamie Lee and Carpenter's involvement? I haven't the slightest clue. But based on the details we know, I have a hunch this is gonna turn out to be one of the best films in the whole franchise. Come what may, this all sounds very exciting! I love the promo pic btw.
