I feel as I mentioned in my review of this film that the ending was done very well in [SPOILERS] first strongly suggesting that yes, the usual 'It was all in his mind' crap, BUT then remember that they replayed the older guy's comment about 'What did they use to fool and manipulate you?' and then showing her eyes subtly change at the end. This clearly to me anyway leaves it much more strongly suggesting that he was indeed being controlled by aliens.
Now, you may just NOT care for the fact that the movie MIGHT really be about aliens; that's understandable. However, I personally find it very refreshing that we do NOT necessarily have yet ANOTHER in many, Many, MANY films where it's the 'Oh he's mental' copout. I rather liked that little double twist myself
ILOVEtrading films!I've got a HUGE..uh..collection!Please ask!
I'm glad you did not agree here, as your explanation shows yes there could actually be an alternative - I'm going to check it again to look for that double twist.
I just MIGHT care for the fact that the movie MIGHT really be about aliens, because that is the outcome I was actually hoping for - this is why the major disappointment when it turned out to all be in his mind
I admire you guys for actually sitting through the whole movie. What did you do? Send it through an editor to speed it up 10 times and at the same time fix the audio pitch so you can still understand the words?
Not really, it's not definitive. You can't say it's 100% in his mind or if something else is going on. It's purposefully left ambiguous with slight nods to a certain outcome.
