natans future (spoilers)

i thought the ending the slightly depressing

i spent a lot of time in asia as a child and loved it there, everything was very easy going sort of like this film but i moved back to the UK later and it just isnt the same life

was this meant to be indicated by the bubble bursting the end ??

maybe natan will be too young to remember his time

i really enjoyed the film

"maybe natan will be too young to remember his time [with his father]"

While I would guess the trip with his father created some memories too strong to fade, he can watch the film years from now and see a loving father with his younger self. A priceless gift.

I liked the film very much. It was simple, beautiful and a little profound. It never felt forced. Despite the mixed emotions as the bubble bursts, I found the film very positive with a deep respect for nature. The cinematography was often gorgeous without calling attention to itself.

Highly recommended.
