Hot agent?

I've never seen this show before but I caught a bit of it. The episode was something about a girl wanting to be an actress and there's an agent who's kind of like blackmailing her/asking her on a date. Yea, who's the hot agent? Was he just an extra character or is he part of the story. Who's that actor and what's that episode? lol I didn't get to finish it.
