Jason Statham to expensive ?

yet again another sequel where it looks like they couldnt afford the staff.
so whilst sitting round the table drinking coffee someone pipes up up "why dont we ask a washed up nogood 80's singer to play the part".oh well another film not worth watching. it should be put on the shelf with other pointless sequals such as the kick boxer crap ology

this is a prequel...so jason statham's character didn't exist yet. although this movie was weaker than the first (as are many sequels), it does have a few famous actors in it and is worth the watch if you enjoyed the first one.

Sequel, prequel, which is it? ;)

Who's a washed up no good 80s singer?

It's COO-pon, not CUE-pon.

Luke Goss was best known as a singer in a British boy band before he was cast in Blade 2. I don't think the OP is familiar with Blade 2 and Hellboy 2, as he has very prominent roles in both.

drummer not singer love

To his credit after his short but very successful singing career Luke Goss has made a reasonably successful acting career. In this movie he is playing the lead role not because the public remember him for his singing career but because he has proven his acting credentials by working out the grind. This is a remarkable achievement and something you should have researched before making your ignorant comment.
