Good and Excellent Performances

Jane Horrocks as Gracie Fields was very good I thought but Tom Hollander as Monty Banks was excellent.

Very informative extremely entertaining.
And it made me angry on Gracie's behalf that just because
she had married an Italian {whom spent most of his life in America}
and who's old country declared war on Great Britain made her a soft target for the gutter press. While doing concerts around the world on Churchill's request was vilified, all while earning money for the war effort and entertaining troops around the world. A great entertainer was Gracie ! Singer; comedian and film star, in her day the highest paid star in Hollywood.

A very good film funny tragic informative entertaining wonderful performances.
What more could you ask? I enjoyed every minute.
