The girl's job...

When she was going over her daily ritual, she mentioned something like "Then I go to work." as she was got on her computer. I thought she was just working on her blog and pretending that it was a job (either that or poor choice of subtitles), but my brother thought she actually had a work from home job. What do you think she meant? I don't remember the exact subtitles, so if anyone knows the exact words that would be helpful too.

I also thought she was just talking about her fantasy life on the internet. I don't think she actually made money doing it.

What she was doing was creating false websites (similar to Facebook) presenting herself as a beautiful, cosmopolitan woman and living her life vicariously through these. Fashionable, unscarred, etc. Many people would fall for this and complement her (as the admiring "street scene" messages show) but as the messages that she reviews at the end reveal, many others were onto her, saying, "This isn't a real website, I've seen the real one," and "Die, Bitch!" That is why she hesitated and then did not throw the last bottle with the beautiful girl picture in it, but instead decided to come clean and run outside in her t-shirt, unkempt hair, and dirty sneakers to present herself honestly (for the first time in three years) to the man she loved.

I think the posters mentioning the fantasy internet life are correct, but it wasn't clear to me at the time either. It was hard to tell what those pages she was flipping through actually were (unless you read Korean of course). And only a couple of the comments at the end were translated, but I guess it was enough.

I've read that some persons can generate revenue from a website that requires little maintenance. This works especially well for websites with content that user generated. You effectively create a template that other persons can use to share information such as recipes or fashion advice. Even if the website is only moderately popular you can make 3-5K per month until your fan base loses interest and moves on.

I immediatly thought she had a computer job she could do from home. If somebody's motivated enough and just needs money for basics, it would be a good option.

I don't think it meant a real job. Like when she was explaining how she woke up, "ate", "cleaned", "job". She was just using the internet to blog about her fantasy life.
