Charlie Day is so annoying

I'm going to ignore every movie he's in now based on how annoying his voice is.

Agreed! I hadn't actually realised how annoying his voice was, having only briefly seen him in a tv show 'sun in philadelphia' or something, but after watching this film he's on my avoid list too.
IMHO he spoilt what could have been a very entertaining film.

it's much, he is the least talented on acting skills. very obvious, forced.

I like him. I think he is hilarious. He is my favorite character on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Agreed. As great of a show that it is, and a great cast, Charlie makes it even greater. That's one of the reasons I loved Horrible Bosses, it was like watching Charlie hanging out with different friends.

reply

lmao Sans all the glue huffing and cat food eating.

reply

Haha, I thought this too. Except he was more sensible in this and killed less rats.

reply

Agreed! he ruined this great movie

I don't watch "It's Sunny.." so I thought he was pretty funny here for the most part. But I can definitely see the warning signs of annoyance from overexposure.

You don't know what you're missing. Funniest tv show ever! I never thought a show could top Seinfeld in that respect, but I was wrong.

reply

as I explained to my girlfriend, whereas Seinfel's characters were fun because they were so selfish, Always Sunnys gang our complete sociopath's, which is even greater. Funniest TV sitcom on TV, right next to Archer. I love Charlie, but Mac (Sherrif of Paddy's) is my favorite.

reply

Agreed!

hes a waste of space

hes taking off into the bottom of the ocean!

Right on... But no one can be for everyone.

Man the nuts thing reminded me of "Butternuts" from Half Baked, which I recently saw as well (yeah reminded me of that damn exchange all over again!). Also him beating on Harken's chest, and later eventually attacking the car were great.

It wasn't about the noise, dude was like some kind of ferocious small animal at times.

There's a slogan written here. 'Happiness Will Walk Away'...

Lol! "I loved Butterstuff!"

The journey was terrible...the trip was alright

reply

couldnt agree more ... hate both the actor and his character

reply

Agreed! The whining voice was really getting on my nerves halfway through.

charlie day is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

OP- AGREED...ugh!!! So incredibly, insanely unrealistic that Jen Aniston's character (EVEN w/ her being insane) wants to have sex w/ that goofy hamster.

reply

glad I'm not the only one who found him extremely annoying.

this movie was great but can't watch it again because of him, well maybe just for the Aniston parts. :)

Vice2006 go suck CD di ck you homo fa**ot

i don't like his voice either but I love the scene in which he tries to slide under the garage :) It's so hilarious he never has a chance to make it.

I found him ok.
It was just the character Dale that I didn't like. I think in some ways, that was intended.

He's an extremely wierd guy that is difficult to relate to.
If you can't relate to a guy and he's too annoying or strange, very difficult for him to be likeable.
They probably had to make him strange as the only possible excuse why any other guy in their right mind would not even consider taking "Dr Harris" up on her offer.

I thought he was the best part of the movie. Although I agree his voice was kind of annoying.

I loved the scenes where he was high on coke.
