Maine is about as far north as you can go! Why was half the cast talking with accents like they were in Alabama or something? The actual Maine accent is sort of a weird hybrid between the Boston (Baahston) one and Canadian. Also the pronunciation of Aroostook County made me laugh. They say "Air Uh Stick" County; it's pronounced like "Uh Roo Stick". Also no true County person would say that's too many guns ;) Maine has something like a 3:1 guns to people ratio.

I think it's mostly carryover from the first two, but if you catch it right, it says Aroostook County, and Maine Law Enforcement on the door of the sherriff's truck.

There are few nudities as objectionable as the naked truth.

When did Maine become closed to outsiders? As a fan of Stephen King I've always thought about visiting, but if as you say, only folks from Maine are allowed there then it would be a waste of a flight.
