Yancy Butler
I think she's the best thing about this movie. She's hilarious!
shareI didn't see the full movie does she say funny things. I found out this is the same woman that was in the TNT short lived comic book tv series Witchblade.
shareIt's a shame she can't kick the drugs. She could have had a good career.
shareI've never even heard of this woman and don't recognize her at all so I don't know where you guys are seeing her.
I mean is it a movie/show that more than 10 people watched?

Best known for the TV series "Witchblade" which ran two seasons starting in 2001, and which would have continued if she hadn't had a meltdown.
In 2002 she beat out Jessica Alba, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Claudia Black, and Gillian Anderson for the "Best Actress in a TV Series" Saturn award, which in the SF community is major.
She also was in "Brooklyn South" which ran only one season but I believe was fairly well known at the time. She's been in a few other short-lived series and had a stint on "As The World Turns", as well as quite a few movie parts.
Her first appearance as an adult was on "Law and Order" by the way, but it was for a single episode.
The most important and famous role Yancy Butler ever got is the JCVD classic movie Hard Target directed by John Woo..Witchblade & all are turds next to that one..So basically her career has been on the downward spiral since Hard Target
shareThe one award that movie ever got was a Saturn award for best supporting actor and Butler didn't get it. The one award that she has ever gotten was also a Saturn award, for best actress, for Witchblade. So one can hardly say that that movie was the high point of her career.
shareDon't forget Yancy's role in another SyFy straight-to-video classic, "Basilisk".
"The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen."
If you saw her you would remember her. She is beautiful in an above average way. I watched her in Witch Blade and then saw her in some made for TV movies. One in particular was very, very good. Too bad she got stuck in this piece of crap, but money comes in handy.
shareShe also played a robot cop in one of my favourite shows when I was younger, the equally short-lived Mann and Machine.

If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
Lol
shareYep...Her "over-the-top","tongue-in-cheek" performance of the kick a$$ guide was hilarious. Loved her in this!

Spoiler down below
I was bummed they killed off her character in the end. She was the only one who did anything!
I don't have time to jaw with anyone who won't identify himself!
Yancy was terrific. yes over-the-top and chewing scenery and looked like she was having fun doing it. she definitely had the meaty character. I thought for sure she was going to miraculously survive at the end. if you never heard of her that is too bad, you are missing a very unique-looking and talented woman. start with my favorite film of hers called "the ex". another over-the-top role, she totally mad the movie. I'm also a big michale ironside fan going all the way back to "scanners" so always nice to see him too. his line about the shampoo almost make me lose control of my bladder.
"everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die"
ah yeah...I'm watching "The Ex" right now. She plays a real good looney tune! Sheer madness at work!

Even the crocodiles acted better than she did...
sharei loved her....
shareI am just watching this movie now and I agree with you! I thought this was the lamest thing since "2-headed Shark" until she appeared. She was so funny with her constant sneering contempt....she reminded me of the "library cop" on "Seinfeld". She truly was the best reason to watch.
shareOne of the ugliest women in Hollywood
