Glad to see him making the attempt. Many action stars have tried, some fail, some don't. But Jet deserves a chance, hopefully he didn't just take the first drama that was handed to him and made sure to pick a good project. As weird as it sounds I always wanted to see Jet Li directed by David Lynch in something lol.
Wouldn't that just be an odd-couple pairing? Anyway, this sounds like a romantic dramedy or something, but I'll give it a chance. I wish Jet all the best.
Van Damme, Jet Li, great, really great. Unfortunately movies like these aren't exactly money magnets. Let's hope Jet Li does find a way to substantiate on these wonderful acting talents and does not fall back to sh*t gruesome movies like Expendables, which was one of the uninspired movies, I've ever seen. Luckily Jet has made tons of good movies already, so there's no pressure on him now like on Van Damme who failed to substantiate after the arthouse movie JCVD and fell back to movies like Universal Soldier Regeneration, which was even worse than Expendables, if that is even possible.

I must admit I didn't have high hopes for this movie but having just watched it, I was pleasantly surprised at just how Jet Li's acting has matured over the years. It's good to see him moving on and trying serious acting roles.
I was actually moved! Rare for me.
