I'm Confused: How Did Mr. Wang's Wife Die? (Spoiler Alert)

(Spoiler Alert) Near the end of the film, Mr. Wang tells the Aquarium manager that he doesn't think his wife died in a swimming accident. He says that when they discovered their son was autistic she couldn't handle it. Is he saying she committed suicide? It was unclear to me what was being conveyed there. Thanks for your help.

Mr. Wang just tells he thinks that there is high probability that she committed suicide.
Because she had troubles handling the fact their son was autistic. And because she was a good swimmer, but died in a swimming accident.
