Yes, Ford did bad things by dumping on that land, but the children were unsupervised and were allowed to eat "mud pies" made out of the tainted soil. Secondly, no one mentions that they are all inbred and that is a fact. Inbreeding is not healthy and most likely is the reason why so many of them are so weird looking and have health problems. The inbreeding may have also made them more susceptible to getting sick from the toxins. To be clear, I think that Ford should have been punished and the area should have been cleaned, but the Jackson Whites are not of no fault, here.
