As an older viewer, I did not consider this a mumblecore film. The plot was a seamless mixture of millennials' almost tragic low expectations and an extremely believable noir story. Best independent film I've seen this year and highly recommended for older viewers (who might initially be turned off or confused by this "mumblecore" classification).

Very engaging film. Terrific photography. Nice, unforced chemistry among the cast. Witty, low-key script. Leisurely pace may turn some off, but it sucked me in. Surprised at it its low-ish 6.0 score. I gave it an 8 and thought viewers would rate it around 7. Look forward to seeing more from Katz.
