Pretty Darn Good...

If you like hints of cliche, thrown in with a chemistry which isn't original- but is tested on actors you wouldn't think would ever work together in this way, and get a little chuckle emitting from yourself on a saturday night.

....Then this is the programme for you!!!!

The first episode is simple but satisfying, it establishes the characters, and their individual marital statuses...so you know.

I watched the repeat last night, loved it. Lucy Punch has always been a talent to watch.

As I said in my starter comment I liked the first episode regardless of what I said, and the second episode I absolutely loved, it was genius I didn't see the Cyanide and the overweight lady coming!

I am so glad that I am not the only one who thought this is quite a fun series to watch. I don't get the bad reviews, this reminds me a bit of "Sledge Hammer" with David Rasche, a 1980s satire police/cop series which I used to love.

Well, I will watch the next (and sadly last) episode too.

Over here in the USA we can only watch it via the wonders of internet piracy. That said, I've seen both of the first two episodes and am liking the series quite a bit. Good chemistry between the leads and I particularly liked the storyline of the first episode - how your grocery loyalty card can get you killed. Such things are a pet peeve of mine, and I think that western society in general could use a little more discussion of the unexpected side-effects of trading away privacy for convenience and discounts -- even if, or maybe especially if, it is done in a light-hearted manner.

I loved it too, shame there is only 3 episodes.

Really enjoyed all 3 episodes. Hopefully there'll be a second series with a longer run of episodes as 3 wasn't nearly enough.

I thought it was bloody good as well.
Hopefully another company will pick the formula up if the rumours of the production company going bust are true.

It is available on amazon instant video. I purchased both seasons and have watched them several times. Very good show!

It was quite good and certainly had possibilities. My only reservation was with Toby Stephens' performance. He is usually very solid but i thought he overplayed the comedy. He should have played a little straighter and it would still have been funny.

I'm so tired of every other channel having their own boring crime show (where I live, at least). Comedy or drama, they are all just starting to seem like different versions of the same show, but then I found this one. It's just such a fun show and different from the others. I really hope there will be more of it at some point because I think it would be one that would get even better with time.

I generally don't care that much for British humor, but having just finished the third season of "Death in Paradise" on Netflix I was looking for something to fill in the gap. This was a pleasant enough show; not great, but not bad.

Try Monarch of the Glen, Doc Martin, It Crowd, and The Inbetweeners for good old juvenile teen boy raunch
