to clean up.. It does me at times.. I donate my clutter to Goodwill periodically..

I donate my clutter to Goodwill periodically.

I don't have any "clutter" and don't understand why some people do.

"A place for everything, and everything in its place."

It might take a little effort, but to me, it's worth it.

It scares me. Sometimes I have clutter, but nothing like this. I am able to use all of my rooms.

It scares me because my MIL is a hoarder (stuff, not garbage) and someday it will be up to me to figure out what to do with all of her "collectables" and "priceless antiques."

My husband also has a tendency to hang on to stuff so I'm constantly trying to keep him in check. I would cry if our house ever got as bad as his parents' place.

Neither inspires nor scares. It makes me look around my house and say "Meh, not so bad."

Me too. I used to have hoarder tendencies and seldom got rid of anything (except trash!), but then I moved from a two-story house with full basement to a four-room condo and I got rid of a ton of stuff, plus also stopped bringing anything home that I didn't have an immediate use for. I'm kind of like a "success story" who never needed intervention or treatment; I just said "no more" and it wasn't even that hard. I consider myself very lucky, and I prefer the way my small home looks to the way my larger one did. I watch this show and think "there but for the grace of God go I".

I've been banned from watching this show at home lol

After seeing this show I start cleaning not only the surfaces you can see, but the ones you cant!

I've also contracted a dis-taste to "Knick-Knacks" all around the house unless it goes with the flow of the room

I cringe when my mom goes on the "Free" facebook sites of people cleaning out their home and giving stuff away....

Once I did wrong, I heard it ever, Twice I did right, I heard it never!

I'm a sparse freak. I like it that way. I don't even have decorations. My husband is a hoarder that I keep in check. I worry about him when I die. :(
