Too many unanswered questions **POSSIBLE SPOILERS**

Why didn't the dad have the ruins of the old house hauled away? Why leave them there as a macabre reminder of what happened?

I found it ridiculous that Liz had never told Becky what happened.

Did Ellie sustain some kind of brain damage from the tornado? The shock of seeing her mother swept away was obviously traumatic, but she seemed half-retarded to me. Why didn't the dad get her some help, even if it meant putting her in a mental hospital for a while? He did say she had been seen by a lot of doctors, but they obviously weren't the right kind.

What was Nora's role? A family friend, Ellie's caregiver? She obviously wasn't a housekeeper, as Liz mentioned how much the house needed cleaning. Surely Ellie could take that over?

A total waste of time watching this movie.
