Macy Gray Was Terrific

I get why some would find her annoying, but that's what made her perfect for this role. The principal characters were so strange that even her quirkiness was normal by comparison. The scenes between her and Jack were genuine and true, very tender and heartwarming. She did a great job.

I didn't find her annoying except for her Mickey Mouse voice. I hated her character for holding onto the letter for a month though. I understood why her character did what she did. Complex plot. I'm guessing the novel is outstanding.

All of the performances were great, but she really stood out.
