Will this be on TV in the US?

A couple of years ago, a Canadian cousin recommended this book to me, but my local library in the US did not have it. They did have Someone Knows My Name, by the same author, Laurence Hill, so I went with that instead. It didn't take too long before I learned that they are the same book, with the name changed in the US as the term "Negro" makes some Americans uncomfortable.

Update: I have since caught up with this miniseries on BET and thought the filmmakers did quite a fine job of it.

Just saw a commercial on TV a few minutes ago advertising it. It will air during Black History Month (February) with the title "Book of Negros". According to what I've read, Louis Gossett Jr. claims it's better than "Roots". The commercial advertised it as "The Book of Negros", so there isn't censorship of its title.

I saw ads today, too, on the Centric Channel. I believe it will air on the BET channel.
