Highland Forest Park

When my wife and I are finished watching a film, we'll sometimes try to guess where it may have possibly been filmed. After watching Germ Z, she was leaning toward a Pacific Northwest possibility, while I kept saying "It looks so familiar, like it could be right around here".

Well, "right around here" turned out to be Highland Forest Park outside Syracuse NY, woods I have hiked extensively all of my life. Go figure.

Not a great movie, but I've seen worse. I'll give it an extra star based on the awesome location! :)
