From Love to hate

Really used to love the show - and then it changed. It was ruined, when it started going off the rails and Annie went rogue.

I agree - it has changed, and it has spoiled my enjoyment of what was a good show.

I am seeing this a lot where the first season or two is great and then they change the show so much that it loses the reasons I enjoyed it. Minor developments that are in keeping with the remit of the show are fine. But I really loathe wholesale and major changes that are not in keeping with the shows theme and only end up turning the show into something it was not meant to be. Too often I am seeing crime shows become relationship shows, or comedies become dramas, etc. Perhaps writers and directors etc are too quickly losing their imagination and creativity so they are resorting to drama/relationships/sex etc to keep their viewers. Or perhaps it is the production companies etc putting pressure on shows to appeal to the widest audience and thus losing the uniqueness of the show. But it seems it is industry wide - and it does need to stop.

Yeah it was pretty cool up till then. But I've barely been able to finish season 5.

But compared to some of the other stuff out there I've really enjoyed it as a whole.

Interesting. At home it was the opposite, everybody got more engaged with the show in seasons 4 and 5.
