Eyal Lavin was a great character...

Eyal was not only one of the best characters on Covert Affairs, but on television lately. The writers always referred to him as a "Fan Favorite", which made me wonder why they did not explore that character more? I think the show lost it's way in the last 2 seasons and they did not bring in their "fan favorite" often enough. The episodes including Oded Fehr as Eyal, were always my favorite too. His screen presence was captivating. He was so good at portraying arrogance, yet caring and gentle. Out of all of Annie Walker's love interest, she and Eyal had the best chemistry together, which made them more believable than the Auggie, Simon or McQuaid relationships. The writers really missed the boat by not making him more prominent in the storyline. I believe that Eyal Lavin/Oded Fehr could carry his own show... hint...hint!
(If you don't believe me, just watch some old episodes of Showtime's "Sleeper Cell")

Aggie was cliche. I liked Simon. McQuaid is meh. Eyal would've been to die for! I would have loved to see all of those storylines!

Mossad characters are always great.

On this show or in general? If you are speaking generally any good recommendations?

Omg yes i agree with everything you said. I remember watching every episode and i would say i hope eyal is in this episode! Only to be dissapointed that he wasnt on as often as he should of been. The show had potential but kept pairing anne with the wrong man.

After Annie and Auggie, Eyal was my favorite character. Loved the relationship and the way Ohed played him. I always got the impression that he was in love with Annie but couldn't let his feelings be known. THAT's good acting.

Would love to see more of him and, I agree, I wish they had used him more in the last season, especially.
