Lower-class revenge fantasy.

That's what this show seems like to me.

A few lowlifes cruise around L.A. repossessing cars from middle class yuppies who don't pay their bills. It's the polar opposite of shows like "The Hills" or "Real Housewives." Instead of idolizing the rich and unfairly famous, this show glorifies a group of overweight, poverty level Repo agents, while vilifying the middle class as a group of spoiled yuppies who can't afford the toys they buy.

Matt is a bad tempered loser. Sonia is just disgusting. These are people I'm supposed to root for? These are the heroes? I can't even sympathize with the actors playing the car owners. They write them up to be the worst kind of stereotypes.

So how is this entertainment? It's like Cops, but admittedly fake. Nobody on the show is likable. And there is this underlying feeling that the whole time the repo team is sitting back laughing. "Haha, look at those middle class fools! Who do they think they are? It's our car now!"

I can't even imagine what this show does to the legitimate repossession industry.
