Is Jasper going to be infected/drugged every episode?

Just watched the fountain of youth one where he and the basketball team are given a plant toxin that makes them act aggressive. This comes right after the one with the poney express disease that also made Jasper act aggressive. I hope this isn't going to be a regular thing, because it could get pretty old if the only way they can make his character interesting is to make him into the victim/butt-monkey every time.

I agree. In the episode before that recent one however (the one with the japanese girl and japanese artifacts being replaced with replicas), didn't have Jasper as the butt monkey or victim. So luckily, they don't have it as a recurring thing.

reluctant stowaway -- actually, there was an intermediate episode "heart of the warrior" where jasper isn't infected by anything unless you count the girl crushing on him (katya). but i certainly agree that two in three weeks is one too many! good call ... we'll try not to do it again for a while. watch tuesday's new episode "public school enemies" -- jasper's definitely not "it" and you'll learn what henry is afraid of. thanks for watching so carefully! mike werb (creator, unnatural history)

In all honesty I enjoy it when Jasper is 'it'. I enjoy the emotion we get from Henry when he has to save him. I'm a fan of brotherly bonding and in 'The Pony Express' when Jasper said 'You were just being a brother' My heart nearly melted and I loved the show even more. I can understand why you wouldn't want to do it so close together but defiantly don't drop the Jasper whooping. It's good to see the characters get closer (in a non-gay way). Thanks for listening to our ideas!!:)

masterarcher: yeah, jasper and maggie may bicker a lot -- but the trio are definitely besties. friendship can be a slippery thing at times, especially at that age (16) -- but they all love and respect each other and that's the bottom line. i also got choked up at the end of the "griffin gang." make sure to watch tonight, because henry has some childhood issues he needs to deal with. and thanks for watching! spread the good word -- we're hoping to get a second season ...

Jasper and Maggie are awesome. Henry is great as well. They all work good as a trio of friends. Maggie and Henry both were really concerned about Jasper when they found out about the dad maybe losing the job.

Really well written episode whoever wrote it.

thanks! i wrote it. and yes, there are definitely some maggie entries in jasper's journal. don't tell anyone.

Yeah, well i don't think that's really shocking that Maggie is in them. ;) But hopefully we get more seasons when maybe that will come up.

I will give a more in depth review of the episode later. I'm watching Warehouse 13 right now and am on the computer during commercials. So that's why these posts are vague right now. lol.

Good work on the episode. Next week looks great as well.

Oh I did love last night's episode! I would love to know what was in Jasper's journal and Henry was adorable when he had to tell his parents about the car. Great job! I have to admit that I was expecting Jasper to ask Maggie to kiss him when they were locked in that trunk with no air but I guess I'll have to keep hoping for later episodes! Again great job and I can't wait for next Tuesdays show! :)

I was thinking the same thing. If it was later in the season or in seasons down the road i would have expected one. It's done in a lot of shows. They are in a moment when they think they will die and the characters kiss.

"OMG were going to die so im going to make out with you" Kiss. LOL. Probably not smart if they were low on air to begin with, lol.

As i said though.....when these thoughts come to me i know it's so early in the series for something like that to happen.
