A small surprise...

to watch how those "preferences" might be forced into the other person and in most cases, will turn out into turning humans into pleasure objects. Maybe that was not the idea...but it surely portrays such a reality.

Shut up and LIVE!

What "preferences" ?

This film shows the terrible power of homophobia, as it affects two gay men who are in the closet to different degrees.

Love is out to himself and some friends. But he is still cautious about letting others know that he's gay or that he desires them. His inexperience and lack of confidence leaves him vulnerable to manipulation by others. One reason why gay sex needs to be part of school curriculum is that nobody like Love should make it to 22 without knowing that anal sex, with no preparation, is going to be unnecessarily painful. Students should also learn some level of self-respect regarding sex. Love's education left him unable to deal with sex, and left him easy prey for rape.

"Marcus" is not out, even to himself. His first words to Love are a challenge, not an invitation. He wants to hurt this young man who dares to find him attractive, and who dares to be attractive. But he doesn't want to do it with fists. He wants to rape a gay man. And while rape is an act of power, it undeniably is an act of sexual desire. It's a way to both want and hurt the same person. When he learns Love is a virgin, he blames himself for his role in encouraging someone else to be gay, but when Love insists he wants it, the blame refocuses on Love. After the rape, "Marcus" rushes to the shower, cursing the young man, for revealing in himself what he knows to be the truth -- that he is living a lie.
