Moronic hero worship.

Stones gushing praise of Henry Wallace is sickening, his distaste for Truman oozing with every biased statement makes it impossible to take this seriously.
His naive assertion that Wallace could have avoided a Cold War with the USSR is ridiculous given what we know of Stalin.
*beep* you Oliver Stone. If this is the history you teach your children then please don't allow them to procreate.

I kind of agree that compared to other historical figures, Henry Wallace does get an unfair amount of attention, especially because he wasn't in command after WWII. But to be fair, Stone merely proposes whether an alternative timeline might have happened if the US had a moderate president compared to a hardliner. No one will ever know though

This is supposed to be the UNTOLD HISTORY OF the U.S....yet your statement, "Stone PROPOSES" shows him as the man behind the curtain.
This series is pure imagination/speculation/manipulation on Stone's part.

By the books, Truman was a lousy leader.

Not as bad as say, Justin Trudeau here in Canada, but his experience and intelligence is fairly low on the all-time list for Presidents. Regardless of what you may think of Wallace, he was seemingly much smarter and certainly more experienced than Truman.

Not that Truman ran the country himself, but you get the picture.
