series 4 episode 5 an odd place to end the series

I mean why not go to 6 episodes like normal

and there still seems to be a lot of life in this show and it seems very unfinished especially with steve and becky becoming parents and the drama that will create

also the whole paul and laura love triangle thing feels very unfinished and unresolved.

no satisfactory ending to the lee and steve or steve and beckys dad things it all just went no where really

seemed very rushed at the end and an odd place to leave the show

couldn't agree more. such a *beep* way to end a series i genuinely enjoyed. a 6th and final episode back in the apartment would have been perfect. must have been a network decision or something that went awry because i dont believe the writers would have wanted it to end there. no way

we are just supposed to accept paul stays with laura and nothing ever comes of paul being gay , and not being withhis true love.

we don't get to see steve and becky be parents or see there wedding mishaps

and the climax to the steve and lee animosity was a let down, there was no real resolution to steve and becky's dad , I expected steve to finally stand up to him.

it just seems very odd to end it there, the same as gavin and Stacey I heard the writers say there was no where else to go with the series yet we had just watched for an entire season of the two main characters try to conceive then they did but the writers feel they cant write any kind of episodes around the 2 becoming parents or nessa having just cancelled her wedding , or pam and mick becoming grand parents it just seems weird where some shows choose to end
