reply

well there is a few good comedies ill name a few and give you an idea of it

ideal like him and her is mostly set in a flat but its about a weed dealer it has good plot and good charecters

the inbetweeners not the us version not similar to him and her but some of the funniest british humour you will ever see

the it crowd

and if you like dramas

Sherlock and peaky blinders

reply

It Crowd, Peep Show, Inbetweeners, Bad Education.

reply

If you want a show with a similar feel (black comedy about abusive relationships, as someone called it), there's Nighty Night.

reply

Look for Black Mirror by Charlie Brooker. There are two series of three programmes.

As fearless, as funny and as well written as Him and Her, just as dark but without the warmth and humanity of Becks and Steve.

reply

I agree - black mirror and peep show are compatible in concept and cleverness. Never liked IT Crowd. Neither as well written and certainly not as well acted. More silly comedy, bit like black books.

Check out Fresh Meat

reply

Good recommendation. And Bad Education, another Sara Solemani vehicle, this time opposite Jack Whitehall, whose performance will underline just how good Russell Tovey is.

reply

No one seems to have recommended - How not to live your life

I think that has similar flavours and is bloody hilarious!

reply

Watched a couple of episodes of that, but I prefer Pete vs. Life.

...then whoa, differences...

reply

Better late than never. But The Royle Family is a classic English comedy about a working class, lazy (and a bit common) family who live just outside Manchester. I absolutely love both.

If you like this you might like Billy & Billie
