That's what the Sasquatch in this film sure looked like to me.

Ah well, it was probably budgetary problems anyway. I am indifferent to this movie. It was neither good or mindbogglingly terrible. It was just simply middle ground. Also I watched it as a rental while I was really sick, so I'm not complaining too much.
