I'll second that; I laughed a bunch during this movie. It wasn't a good movie by a long shot, but it was frequently funny.
shareI didn't think it was that bad, I laughed a couple of times but I thought it'd be funnier, I only watched it because it was on TV today for Johnny Knoxville mainly although Patton Oswalt is usually funny too.

I agree. I just don't get the hate. I mean, Talledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby is currently rated 6.5/10. People think that stinking turd pile of a movie is funny but not this? Give me a break...
shareFor some reason when I first sat down to watch it a year and a half ago, I would've agreed with most people on this board. The ~30 min I sat through felt atrocious.
However, I decided to see if it really was that bad today and it's fine for a mindless comedy. There were lots of attempts at humor that fell flat, but there were a few chuckles throughout to keep me interested. It's predictable, forgettable and mediocre but I enjoyed it the second time through.
