I'm not racist but.....

Of course it was odd. Though Louie has stated that he doesn't hold to any continuity in the show except for when the story requires it. Like his ever changing siblings, and his mother who was a total bitch and appeared to always have been, yet his younger mother seemed loving and understanding for the story. I think having the younger version played by a white girl was partly to screw with people, especially after all the comments about his black ex-wife but lily white children.

To Love and win is the best thing. To Love and lose, the next best.
