She's such a camera hog

The woman constantly has the camera on herself even when she's interviewing other people. Even when she's narrating she's on camera, there's literally segments where she's filmed sitting in front of the camera so the focus is about her. Now I love true crime shows but I found myself very turned off by this woman's show because she's actually "acting" not interviewing. She was absolutely ridiculous with her shrieking at one point, on the episode I watched "Girl Gone". Whilst I appreciate that she covers these cases and hopefully help the families gather more information, I always have to fast forward her scenes. Anyone else feel the same?

Her show.

Not only is she a camera hog (even if it is her program), but she's as dumb as mud. She makes hysterical, argumentative statements that are patently illogical. E.g., she says she knows that a female police officer's gun is the murder weapon used to kill a romantic rival, even though the gun has not been recovered. Her argument: the female police officer reported the gun stolen. Huh?

She also claims a bullet is the murder bullet, even though it can't be matched. She is such a ditsy wannabe criminologist that I guess people watch it just to see how bizarre she is.

Are you talking about Stephanie Laserith or however you spell it? I think shes absolutely correct in that case. Don't you think it's a little suspicious? Then her DNA is found in a bite mark on the victim.

Not to be unkind but is she aware she is constantly making these over the top expressions to no one in particular. It's very disturbing...

I actually like watching it for that part. She actually gives her opinion, unlike most crime shows.
