Yes, No..???

reply

Nope. Both of the leads have new shows starting on NBC this fall.

The Player and something with Lady Sif from Thor.

reply

The Player and Blindspot.

NBC should really do a crossover between the two shows. Get the two buddies back together to kick ass.

reply

Assuming they are picked up for full seasons or a renewal...I could see that happening.

This is 100% the last season. I'll miss it because it was super fun and the action was like a Hollywood film only they did a lot of their stunts. I'll miss it .

THERES NO ROOM IN MY CIRCUS TENT FOR YOU!!!!

Excellent idea.. I really hope that happens. I'm going to start watching them both just because I love Stapleton and Winchester so much.

I sent you a message last week. I am not happy with everyone dying except borrowed Martinez.

The British Government won't hire them in the movies, so I wonder if the yanks will???

I am going to buy all of the dvd's for STRIKE BACK.
Blindspot has been picked up for a total of 22 episodes. The Player not doing so well in ratings.

>>>Spoiler<<<<<<<

As both guys make it to the end I suppose there is a chance they could do something in the future like a 2 hour special or even a movie but for now at least that's the end of the road for Damien & Mikey they have certainly gone out at the top & left viewers wanting more.

reply

No chance, the ratings plummeted after it was taken over by US & its $$.

S1 was suspenseful, fast moving, good actors/production & writers. S2 was a load of crap, mainly sex scenes, lots of swearing, ridiculous story lines, many editing errors, but I noticed it was taken over by an American company. Crazy idea as it was supposed to be based on UK intelligence services, and S2 had more American actors than S1. It just wasnt the same without the crisp sharp cutting British accents and good English actors that S1 had. Lots of over-acting in S2.
It went downhill from there, Another good book ruined by Hollywood, what a shame.
Looks like many felt the same as the ratings went right down from S2 onwards.....

There wasn't any American actors in Strike Back Winchester said he was more brit than american and Stapleton is Australian... Winchester is the only quarter American in the show

reply

There were American WOMEN actors

reply

What American women? I don't remember any American female actors in season 2 (project dawn). There was the CIA agent Christy Bryant in season 3 and 5 and of course the lovely Kim Martinez in season 4 and 5 but no one comes to mind in season 2.

Unless some of the actresses playing Brits were actually played by Americans? After Philip Winchester completely fooled me with his near perfect British accent I can never be sure anymore.

.

Yes, but it will be a total reboot with a new cast:
