i dont know what the hell kinda movies the ppl on here have been watching but this movie definitely should have a higher score. i really liked it. is it the best gay film ever? no. is it interesting, well acted, shot in a beautiful location? yes. i think if you like Brokeback Mountain, youd like this. its a welcome addition to our collection of gay films.
shareAgreed. There was unusual dialogue in this at times, but, this movie still moves me. Such beautiful use of language: you are safe, you are beautiful, you belong.
Just wondering if the last moments of the film were those 5 minutes of dreaming? I'm a sucker for happy endings, it's so easy.
6.8 is a pretty good rating. I think movies that get higher ratings than that have big names attached, whether it's the director, producer, writer, (or especially) the actors. A lot of people who vote on a movie like this will find it by accident an take a chance on it...and then be disappointed and rate it low. Whereas with the Batman movies...everybody knows what they're getting before they even left home for the movie theatre.
